NTUC Company Training Grant aims to help companies build capabilities and tap on technology to improve productivity. Supporting employee in an organization with skills upgrading and reskilling to help employees stay relevant to the market. Encouraging employers to take ownership of their employees’ skills development to stay relevant. 

The grant covers up to 90% of course fees and training allowances for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, capped at $15 per hour. Employers can tap on the grant to send their employees for a wide range of training courses in areas like information technology, technical skills, soft skills, and more.

By defraying training costs, the CTC grant enables companies to invest in human capital development. It is administered by NTUC’s e2i (Employment and Employability Institute). Companies can apply for the grant through e2i’s website.

CTC grant has specific eligibility conditions for the employees nominated for training:

• Be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
• Be full-time employees on the company’s payroll
• Have at least 2 years of working experience prior to course commencement

The CTC grant covers a wide range of training courses including IT, technical and soft skills. The grant amount can cover up to 90% of direct training costs subject to a cap. Companies should review the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the CTC grant.

The Tech-and-GO! Start Digital grant by Singapore’s National Council of Social Service (NCSS) is a funding initiative designed to assist Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in initiating their digital transformation journey.

The grant enables Social Service Agencies to be able to adopt both off-the-shelf and customized IT solutions for essential tools, such as a human resource management system (HRMS), without requiring heavy upfront investment.

Project should achieve the following for each IT solution:

• 20% improvement in manpower productivity
• 70% staff/client satisfaction

The grant offers up to 80% funding support in the first year and 50% in the subsequent two years, with a cap of S$20,000 per solution. The Tech-and-GO! Start Digital grant empowers SSAs to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and scale their impact through digital innovation.

SBF in partnership with WSG empower Singapore businesses with Enterprise Workforce Transformation Package (EWTP) grants. This allow Singapore companies to aligned with enterprise transformation, business growth and productivity improvement through HR automation, workforce analytics, and skills development tools. By digitalising HR processes and providing actionable workforce insights, businesses can identify skills gaps, support employee development, and make informed workforce planning decisions.

The solution supports workforce transformation and job redesign by reducing manual administrative tasks and enabling employees to focus on higher-value responsibilities. Key Enhancements under EWTP – WDG(JR+) Grant:

• Companies pay only their co-funding portion to consultants and government grant is paid directly to consultants by SBF upon milestone completion
• Up to 70% funding support with eligible companies able to tap on the grant multiple times, within an overall capped of $150,000 per company
• Support Workforce Consultancy, Capability Building Initiatives and Workforce Tech Solutions to drive sustainable transformation.
