Congratulations to Dyslexic Association of Singapore for 21 Years of Success!

It is estimated that around 10% of Singaporeans are dyslexic. Unlike what is commonly perceived, dyslexia is not a disease. It is a specific learning condition that manifests itself in individuals, and issues can range from specific difficulties in reading, spelling or writing to associated issues in organization, sequencing and poor memory.

Due to a lack of awareness about dyslexia in the past, many dyslexics might have been undiagnosed as children, and have continued to struggle with these problems as an adult. Whether as students going through tertiary education or as working adults, dyslexia can lead to underperformance and frustration which can affect an individual’s self-esteem.

The Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) was established with the mission of “Helping Dyslexic People Achieve.” Their goal is to build a world-class organization dedicated to helping dyslexics and other people affected with specific learning differences in Singapore and the region.

As DAS approaches its coming-of-age, IQ Dynamics is proud to be associated with and a staunch supporter of DAS and its activities and services designed to benefit their students in “Helping Dyslexic People Achieve.”

The management and staff of IQ Dynamics will be in attendance at the DAS Gala Anniversary Dinner on 8 September 2012 at the Singapore Island Country Club, to join DAS in its celebration of 21 years of success.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to DAS for 21 years of hard work and success, and hope for many more successful years in helping dyslexic children overcome their difficulties.
