HR and Talent Management News: Starting 1 January 2016, the SkillsFuture Credit will be made available to eligible Singaporeans.
It can be used for about 10,000 approved skills-related courses across 57 functional areas covering all the key industries.
Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an initial credit of $500 which can be used to pay for course fees, apart from government subsidies.
This will ensure that Singapore transforms into an advanced economy focusing on skills mastery rather than academic qualifications.
As a CHRO, HR manager or Talent Planning Director, it’s also time to look at investing in a good Learning and Development software solution to keep track of the skills, competencies and learning history of your employees as they improve themselves.
Take a look at HRiQ’s Learning Management system, nominated as one of the best LMS in Singapore in 2015.
