After months of preparation from our internal team, we have finally been awarded the ISO 27001 Certification from GIC.
The ISO 27001 program is specified for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes
According to its documentation, ISO 27001 was developed to “provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving an information security management system.”
This means that for every piece of information that moves through our company, its people and products, we have a workflow in place to ensure its security and safety from data breaches. And even if the data was breached, that we have a procedure for how we will identify the point of leak and inform all parties involved.
